Hello September!

As the seasons change, we’ve got some important team updates, clinic news, and a special offer to help keep your treatment plan on track. Here’s everything you need to know this month from the team at Kube Medical.

Team News – Farewell & Welcome

This month we say a fond farewell to two valued members of our team — Suzie and Pearl. Both have made a wonderful impact on our patients and colleagues alike, and we wish them every success in their next chapters.

At the same time, we’re delighted to welcome Alex Barrelet, our new Senior Physiotherapist, who will be joining Kube Medical from 10th September. Alex brings a wealth of experience in musculoskeletal care and rehabilitation, and will be working closely with our team of Physiotherapists and Sports Therapists to continue providing excellent patient care.

We’re excited for you to meet Alex and benefit from her expertise in the weeks ahead.

Don’t Miss Out – Book Your September Offer

If you have recently been treated by Suzie or Pearl, don’t miss your chance to continue your care with our new Senior Physiotherapist Alex Barrelet at a reduced rate this month.

Featured Product: In Health Pure Omega 3 Fish Oil

Supporting joint, heart, and brain health starts with the right foundations — and one of the most important is Omega 3. That’s why we’re pleased to feature In Health Pure Omega 3 Fish Oil, a high-quality supplement providing essential fatty acids to complement your everyday wellbeing.

Omega 3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) are vital for:

  • Brain function — supporting memory, focus, and mood balance
  • Heart health — contributing to normal cardiovascular function
  • Joint care — reducing inflammation and supporting mobility

Omega 3 cannot be made by the body, so it’s important to ensure a steady intake through diet or supplementation. Adding Pure Omega 3 Fish Oil can be a simple, effective way to support your health alongside your treatment plan.

Kube Medical | Get Ski Ready
by Alex Barrelet 13 October 2025
As the days get shorter and the air turns crisp, many of us start dreaming about fresh powder, mountain air, and that first exhilarating run of the ski season. But before you dust off your boots, it’s worth thinking about one crucial thing: your body’s readiness. Whether you’re a seasoned skier eager to hit the slopes from day one, or an occasional skier looking to make the most of a long-awaited trip, a little “pre-hab” — preparing your body in advance — can make all the difference between an enjoyable week on the mountain and one cut short by fatigue or injury.
Kube Medical | Weight Loss
by Patrick Campbell 15 August 2025
Weight-loss injections have become a hot topic. Three in particular—Wegovy (semaglutide), Ozempic (semaglutide for diabetes), and Mounjaro (tirzepatide)—are often discussed. Here’s how they compare, based on evidence and FAQs.

There’s no easy way to put it — the sudden closure of Private Midwives has left a real void, both professionally and personally, for many highly experienced tongue tie practitioners. It’s disrupted livelihoods, interrupted the continuity of care for families, and forced many to face a wave of uncertainty.

by Patrick Campbell 15 July 2025
Imagine this: you’ve tweaked your back lifting something awkward, your GP suggests physio — and you remember you’ve got private health insurance with Bupa or AXA. But then you check online and… your local provider in Faringdon isn’t showing up. Frustrating, right? The good news is: Kube Medical in Faringdon is registered and ready to accept Bupa and AXA patients — even if we’re not currently showing on Bupa’s location finder. Let’s clear up the confusion and walk you through what to do next.
