Having spent most of my mediocre sporting career with one ailment or another, I've generally learnt to deal with the various pains and aches. Any sports massage I've ever had before, usually in London, has always cost me a fortune and has left me feeling no better.
Swindon Massage Therapy is a very different kettle of fish; I'm hooked! I come away feeling better than ever, with the staff clearly knowledgeable in their respective fields and able to offer insight into my various ailments. Not only have I noticed my performance improve, I've also noticed my confidence improve, knowing that I have a quality service to call upon - and at an excellent rate - should anything flare up.

I started to see Samantha over 18 months ago after suffering for years with severe muscle pain in my back. Due to having a lot of surgery on my back I was a bit worried about having treatment on it but was amazed at the progress I have made after receiving treatment from her. I had a large lump on my lower spine which caused me constant pain but after several treatments this has now gone. I come to see Samantha once a month to keep the muscles supple and pain free and will continue to do so as she works wonders and I would recommend her for anyone who is suffering with long term pain.Nick Colbourne

"After suffering a neck injury whilst training at the gym, and waiting 3 months for this neck injury to resolve itself, without success, it was time to act. The pain from this neck injury had spread along my left shoulder and along my left arm, due to a nerve becoming trapped in the neck. My first port of call was my local GP. After an x-ray, and pain killers and being advised that there was a potential waiting period of 9 weeks before I could see a physiotherapist, and the pain in my neck, shoulder and arm was now affecting my day to day living, and stripping me of my daily energy. This was a very bleak future; of high dose pain killers, with serious side effects, lacking in energy, and enthusiasm, due to the pain; and my sleeping pattern had become more erratic than a banks lending policy." Thank god for Wiltshire Chiropractic and Samantha Cornell! After my first session of sports therapy / chiropractic therapy, my shoulder neck and arm where beginning to feel better and the pain was subsiding. But after 3 sessions of sports therapy / chiropractic therapy at Wiltshire Chiropractic Clinic. I was able to re-commence my training back in the gym after the unexpected 3 month break, and within 3 weeks was back to full fitness. Wiltshire Chiropractics overall and especially Samantha’s service has even found and resolved old injuries from many years ago in both my rotor cuffs. I cannot thank Samantha and the team at Wiltshire Chiropractic Clinic enough for resolving the extreme pain that I was living with for over three months, and having the prospect of having to live with this pain for at least another 3 months if I’d continued down the NHS path, and also having to consume high strength pain killers for this same period of time; this was a very bleak future! Wiltshire Chiropractic's service is outstanding value for money, friendly, conscientious, and informative, and I would recommend Samantha’s sports therapy / chiropractic service to anyone.

Acupuncture
HERE AT KUBE MEDICAL OUR SWINDON BASED CHIROPRACTORS AND PHYSIOTHERAPISTS ARE TRAINED IN A FORM OF ACUPUNCTURE CALLED DRY NEEEDLING.
DRY NEEDLING IS DIFFERENT TO ACUPUNCTURE AS IT ADRESSES MUSCULAR ISSUES BASED ON TRIGGER POINTS WHEREAS ACUPUNCTURE, OR CHINESE MEDICINE (TCM) IS BASED ON MERIDAN LINES AND ADDRESSES MORE SYSTEMIC TYPE ISSUES SUCH AS INFERTILITY OR IBS.
A TRIGGER POINT IS AN AREA OF INCREASED NEUROLOGICAL ACTIVITY WITHIN A MUSCLE WHICH CAN CAUSE LOCAL AND REFERRED PAIN.
BY INSERTING A NEEDLE INTO A TRIGGER POINT IT CAUSES THE MUSCLE TO RELAX OUT OF A SPASM BY INCREASING THE BLOOD FLOW INTO THE TRIGGER POINT AND STIMULATING CERTAIN SENSORS TO DECREASE PAIN SIGNALS. A MUSCLE LEFT IN SPASM FOR A LONG TIME CAN BECOME DAMAGED AS THE SPASM REDUCES THE FLOW OF BLOOD INTO THE MUSCLE, TO WHICH THE BODY REACTS BY REPLACING MUSCLE TISSUE WITH SCAR TISSUE. THIS CAN GO ON TO SHORTEN A MUSCLE WHICH IN TURN CAN PLACE STRAIN ON TENDONS AND LIGAMENTS.
