These sessions are available on Thursday 07/12 and Thursday 14/12, between 9:00 am and 11:00 am.

Samantha, our clinical lead, has a special interest in paediatrics, and is also a trained infant feeding coach. Sam is also holding a free walk in sessions on the below dates and times. These sessions are for babies and infants. These sessions are also for anyone to attend, no need for an appointment! And they are FREE!

These sessions are available on Tuesday 05/12 and Tuesday 19/12, both between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.

Product of the month

Kube Medical | InHealth D3 + K2

Our product of the month for December is Vitamin D3 + K2, provided by InHealth Supplements.

Vitamin D3 plays a vital role in our bone health. Without this vitamin, we cannot absorb calcium from our diet which is essential for strong bones and teeth, as well as a healthy, balanced immune system.

When vitamin D levels are optimal you maximally absorb calcium from your diet. Vitamin K2 effectively turns on bone cells which then pull calcium into the bone, which is critical for long term bone strength and density.

New Water Feature

Kube Medical | Lake Kube

Last month, we arrived one morning to discover a surprise new water feature at the clinic. Unfortunately, some pipework waited until just after we had closed up for the evening to burst, resulting in mains-pressure water escaping all night. Three treatment rooms, the back office and half of reception were under water.

Thanks to the incredible work of the Kube admin team and the Nexus team, we were able to mop up the lake and safely keep the doors open. Not a single appointment was missed. It has taken a little while for the remaining dampness to go, but we'll be fully redecorated by the New Year.

Team News

Sadly, we are having to say goodbye to our Physiotherapist, Karlo. He is continuing his adventures, as he moves all the way up to Derby to be with his fiancée. We wish him all the best and he will be greatly missed. However, we won't have to say goodbye quite yet, as he will continue on reduced hours for a few weeks.

Partnerships

Our partnership with Swindon Town Football Club goes from strength to strength. Off the pitch, STFC has revealed some exciting news this month.

Kube Medical | Swindon Town FC Partnership

On the pitch, the great start to the season has been hard to maintain. Through November, we've been working with the club to keep the team in working order. Top scorer, Jake Young, and singing sensation, Udoka Godwin-Malife, stopped by for a photo with Karlo and clinic dog Maddie.

Our priorities are keeping all players on the pitch and free from pain. The game must go on!

Kube Medical | Clinical Integrity
by Patrick Campbell 14 June 2025
Like many businesses in healthcare, we sometimes receive feedback that is difficult to read — not because it challenges us, but because it doesn’t reflect the care and intention with which our team works every day. Recently, a negative review was shared online that has been mentioned by both current and prospective patients. While we always value constructive feedback and use it to review our processes, I wanted to take a moment — from my perspective as a non-clinical Director — to clarify how we work, and the values that guide our decisions when it comes to patient care.

As a Physiotherapist with over six years of experience working with athletes, I've encountered a pattern that’s all too familiar — the dedicated, driven sports person who finds themselves stuck in limbo after an injury. One particular case stands out, and it’s a scenario I see frequently, especially with individuals recovering from sports injuries in Swindon.

Every so often, I come across someone who’s been told, or believes, they have cervical kyphosis. It’s a term that sounds serious and often sparks fear, confusion, or a sudden identity shift: “I have a curved neck; I must be broken.” Today, I saw just that—someone on social media seeking help after self-diagnosing with cervical kyphosis.

If you have private health insurance with Bupa, Axa, Aviva, Vitality, or WPA, you may be eligible to receive Chiropractic, Osteopathy, or Physiotherapy treatment at Kube Medical in Swindon. Many health insurance policies cover musculoskeletal treatments, but it’s important to understand how the process works, what is covered, and how to make a claim. This guide will walk you through the insurance process, what treatments are covered, and how to book an appointment using your insurance.
