A Strong Start for Baby Acorn Clinic

Since Baby Acorn Clinic became a part of the Kube Medical team, it has gone from strength to strength. We’ve welcomed new team members, supported numerous families with tongue-tie procedures, and received wonderful feedback from parents about the quality of care and support. It’s been a fantastic addition to our services, and we’re proud to be making such a positive impact on infant feeding journeys in our community.

Something New is Coming…

We’re preparing to launch a new Kube Medical location soon! We can’t wait to share more details with you. Stay tuned—more information will be revealed in next month’s newsletter!

Last-Minute Massage Appointments

Short on time but need to unwind? We regularly release last-minute massage appointments through TidyCal. Be sure to check availability and treat yourself when you need it most!

What You’re Saying – Patient Feedback

We’re so grateful for your kind words. Here are just a couple of things our patients said in April:

"Meryl is amazing!!! Makes you feel so comfortable. Highly recommend 💞" - Sharlianne Morgan, via Facebook

“Seen by Pearl, Physio. Recognised problem i had and came up with a plan and treated there and then. Has made a big difference already. Thank you so much.” - Andy Ormston, via Google

If you’ve had a great experience, we’d love for you to share it:

Product of the Month – Vitamin D

Even though the sun is shining, Vitamin D levels can still fall short—especially if you spend much of your time indoors, wear sunscreen, or have darker skin. Sunburn also blocks vitamin D production, so you may not be generating as much as you think.

Maintaining healthy Vitamin D levels is vital for strong bones, immune support, and mood balance. Ask us about the best supplement or booster option for you.

Is It Carpal Tunnel or Thoracic Outlet Syndrome? Here's How to Tell the Difference – and Why It Matters
by Pearl Doiphode 3 May 2025
As a Physiotherapist with over six years of experience working with athletes, I've encountered a pattern that’s all too familiar — the dedicated, driven sports person who finds themselves stuck in limbo after an injury. One particular case stands out, and it’s a scenario I see frequently, especially with individuals recovering from sports injuries in Swindon.

Every so often, I come across someone who’s been told, or believes, they have cervical kyphosis. It’s a term that sounds serious and often sparks fear, confusion, or a sudden identity shift: “I have a curved neck; I must be broken.” Today, I saw just that—someone on social media seeking help after self-diagnosing with cervical kyphosis.

If you have private health insurance with Bupa, Axa, Aviva, Vitality, or WPA, you may be eligible to receive Chiropractic, Osteopathy, or Physiotherapy treatment at Kube Medical in Swindon. Many health insurance policies cover musculoskeletal treatments, but it’s important to understand how the process works, what is covered, and how to make a claim. This guide will walk you through the insurance process, what treatments are covered, and how to book an appointment using your insurance.
