Kube Medical supports local triathlete to representative honours

Patrick Campbell • 22 July 2022

Great Britain age group triathlete, Nathan Morgan, will join over 3000 competitors at the European Multisport Triathlon Championships in Bilbao in September. Originally selected for the twice-postponed 2020 Championships, Nathan has been working with the team at Kube Medical to manage training injuries and optimise his performance for the upcoming event.

After many years playing rugby, Nathan turned to triathlon in 2015, competing in the Ironman UK in 2018. He was selected to represent Great Britain in 2020, but was forced to delay his international debut due to the pandemic.

Nathan says: “Treatment at Kube Medical has helped me improve my flexibility, helping me move more quickly and efficiently across all three disciplines. It has also helped me reduce my recovery time, allowing me to train harder.”

With events returning to normal, Nathan has enjoyed some strong performances in 2022, winning events in the New Forest, Hampshire and Royal Wootton Bassett. He also placed 6th place overall and 3rd in his age group at the Chester Triathlon, securing his qualification for the 2023 World Championships.

“The team has enjoyed helping Nathan with his journey in elite sport,” said Kube Medical Director, Patrick Campbell. “We’re really excited to see our logo on Nathan’s GBR tri-suit.”

Kube Medical works with youth and adult athletes at the elite and sub-elite levels. The team of Chiropractors, Osteopaths, Physiotherapists, Sports Therapists and massage therapists helps athletes with their recovery and rehabilitation, as well as helping them to stay in peak condition for competition.

Kube Medical | Clinical Integrity
by Patrick Campbell 14 June 2025
Like many businesses in healthcare, we sometimes receive feedback that is difficult to read — not because it challenges us, but because it doesn’t reflect the care and intention with which our team works every day. Recently, a negative review was shared online that has been mentioned by both current and prospective patients. While we always value constructive feedback and use it to review our processes, I wanted to take a moment — from my perspective as a non-clinical Director — to clarify how we work, and the values that guide our decisions when it comes to patient care.

As a Physiotherapist with over six years of experience working with athletes, I've encountered a pattern that’s all too familiar — the dedicated, driven sports person who finds themselves stuck in limbo after an injury. One particular case stands out, and it’s a scenario I see frequently, especially with individuals recovering from sports injuries in Swindon.

Every so often, I come across someone who’s been told, or believes, they have cervical kyphosis. It’s a term that sounds serious and often sparks fear, confusion, or a sudden identity shift: “I have a curved neck; I must be broken.” Today, I saw just that—someone on social media seeking help after self-diagnosing with cervical kyphosis.
